Two giants from the Middle Eastern music world, Richard A. Hagopian and Omar Faruk Tekbikek, are brought together for the first time, accompanied by Turkish and Bulgarian gypsies.
Hagopian is a recipient of the prestigious American Heritage Fellowship, the nations highest honor awarded in the traditional folk arts.
Faruk Tekbilek is renowned for his sound track recording of Suleyman the Magnificent.
Arto Tunçboyaciyan, who performs regularly with Al Dimeola, Joe Zawinal and Lucky Peterson returns to his roots adding a real fusion of mid eastern-jazz percussion.
